I started in this industry when I was 19 years old; It had been just over a year since finishing high school and my mother had been giving me that push to start figuring out what I wanted to do for a career. Then one day I stumbled upon an online ad for a dog bather. Being someone who has always loved animals and who has always bathed/groomed her own pets at home, I felt like it would be the perfect opportunity. After being a bather for a few years and becoming comfortable within the industry, I went to school to become a groomer. The rest, as you would say, is history. I have tried a few other career options over the years, but I always seem to come back to grooming. I find working with animals to be both rewarding and challenging. I feel very fortunate to be able to come into work everyday and love both the people I get to work with and the clients who entrust their furry family members with me.
